Two Waste Types, Two Different Bins
Every bin we run is booked as one of two waste types. It is not a formality: the waste type sets the weight limit and the price, and the two are not interchangeable. Picking it first makes choosing a size much simpler.
The short version:
Light material is household and office clutter, furniture, appliances and light green waste. It is cheaper, and each size carries a weight limit ($400 + gst per tonne over the limit above it).
Heavy material is demolition, construction and renovation waste, including bricks, tiles and concrete. It costs more and has no weight limit at any size.
If a load has even a small amount of heavy material mixed through it, book the heavy bin. A light bin loaded with rubble will come back as an excess weight charge.
Light Material
Household clear-outs, furniture, light commercial waste and light green waste. Every light bin has a weight limit, and the price is lower because the load is lighter.
