What A Light Material Bin Is For

Household clear-outs, furniture, light commercial waste and light green waste. Every light bin has a weight limit, and the price is lower because the load is lighter.

Every light bin has a weight limit based on its size. Go over it and the overage rate applies. Go over it and $400 + gst per tonne over the limit applies.

Up to 7 days hire included. If your job is throwing out bricks, tiles, concrete, soil or renovation waste, that is a heavy material job instead, and those bins carry no weight limit at all.

  • Hard or heavy materials, for example bricks, sand, clay, concrete, tiles, soil, or soil with turf attached
  • Home or commercial renovation materials, for example gyprock, fibro and internal wall timbers

Mid-Range Marrel Bins - 5m³, 6m³ and 7m³

Step up in volume without stepping up to a construction-grade setup. These sizes cover the sweet spot for bigger jobs and light commercial work. Still droppable on a driveway in most cases, though the 7m³ is worth a quick conversation about access first.

Throwing Out Something Heavier?

Bricks, tiles, concrete, soil, gyprock and renovation waste cannot go in a light bin. They go in a heavy material bin, which costs more but has no weight limit at any size.
