Heavy bins carry no weight limit at any size. Fill to the top edge of the bin and that is the only limit that applies.

That is the whole point of a heavy bin. There is no weight limit to go over, so there is no excess weight charge to worry about either. Up to 7 days hire included.

What can go in this bin

  • Waste from domestic or commercial demolition, construction and renovation, for example timber, plastic, gyprock and minimal glass, excluding fibro
  • Timber logs under 300mm in diameter and under 500mm long
  • Hardfill waste, for example bricks, tiles and concrete, in pieces no larger than 600 x 600
  • Household waste, for example clothes, toys, paper and kitchenware

What cannot go in this bin

  • Mattresses
  • Tyres
  • Tree trunks larger than 300mm in diameter or over 500mm long
  • Palm tree trunks or large tree roots

Compact Marrel Bins - 2m³, 3m³ and 4m³

  • Note: Most popular size for single-room projects.

Our most popular bin - and there’s a reason for that.

  • Uses: Multi-room renovation, mixed demolition waste, brick and tile offcuts.
  • Note: Good all-rounder for mid-size residential jobs.

Mid-Range Marrel Bins - 5m³, 6m³ and 7m³

Step up in volume without stepping up to a construction-grade setup. These sizes cover the sweet spot for bigger jobs and light commercial work. Still droppable on a driveway in most cases, though the 7m³ is worth a quick conversation about access first.

  • Note: May require a council permit if placed on a public verge.

Large Marrel Bins - 8m³ and 10m³

Serious volume for serious jobs. These two sizes bridge the gap between a standard residential skip and a Hook Lift bin. Common on construction sites, large commercial cleanouts and multi-dwelling strip-outs.

Just Household Clutter?

If you are clearing out furniture, boxes, clothes and light garden waste with nothing heavy in the mix, a light material bin costs less. It does carry a weight limit, but for that kind of load you are unlikely to reach it.
